Movement
In this module I will explain why movement is important for an actor, what is my strength and weaknesses and introduce my movement workshop.
Analyzing myself I can concern that I have enough stamina due to my sport training, such as running, playing tennis. I have strength and my body is well-build with muscles. I am not quite flexible, but I keep working on it at home doing yoga and using an app which helps me to achieve particular goal in 30 days. My weakest point is physical theater, building a character. The reason of it is lack of knowledge. I start to read more information in the internet, watch videos on YouTube, ask questions to my classmates/the leader of the course, read a book, continue study outside the course. And this is how I met Jacquie Lecoq (7 levels of Tension), Rudolph Laban (The 8 efforts), Frantic Ensemble (physical theatre), Anna Halprin (circle the Earth) and many, many others.
